Like all specialist equipment these sticks need to be looked after.  It is most important that you ensure they are not thrown about in the back of the Landrover or pickup truck or left where the dog can have a good old chew on them

Equally, you should ensure that all debris that might have been picked up during a stalk such as grass, leaves or mud is removed from the sticks BEFORE you close them otherwise damage may occur.

The fixing bolts have been superglued into each other so that they will not come undone.  However, a periodic visual inspection is advised to ensure they are still secure.    

If you treat these sticks as you would any other piece of kit they will serve you well for many years to come.  Abuse them and you have yourself to blame.
